Sloany is three!

Sloan Eloise is  t  h  r  e  e!

Our sweet Sloan Eloise is three!!  Like every other mother, I just do not know where the time has gone.  I blinked and my tiny little baby turned into a very chatty and adventurous three year old!  So far, three has been very good to Miss Sloan.  She got to celebrate her pre-birthday in Disneyland, plan our entire day on her actual birthday (donuts and pedicures were included), and she's very much looking forward to her 'Princess Tea Party' birthday party this weekend!  I have loved every minute of celebrating our girl, watching her excitement has been pure magic.  I love every little ounce of her and I'm trying to soak up this amazing stage in her life.

Sloan is definitely a leader.  She's assertive and self assured, but also very sensitive and sweet.  She has an AMAZING imagination so playing with her is pretty magical (she totally gets that from her dad).  She is shy with new people, but doesn't take long to warm up and be her silly self.  She loves to dress up and is the best at accessorizing.  No one has ever worn more jewelry and accessories than Sloan has at one time.  Clip on earrings are her new jam.  She has always been advanced in her speech and loves learning new words.  She constantly asks what words mean and practices using them.  She says the funniest things ever and is constantly keeping us on our toes!

She loves her baby sister fiercely.  Her love and loyalty to her family is probably my favorite thing about her.  She's constantly talking to and kissing Phayre and is very protective of her.  I hope she's always that way!  When we were on vacation (and all sharing a bedroom), Phayre was having a very hard time falling to sleep.  I started singing to her and before long, Sloan took over and sang Phayre the ABC's until she fell asleep.  Seriously the best big sister!

Her three year old checkup was a breeze, she's a smart and healthy girl!  Still very tall and skinny (Height is in the 70th percentile while weight is in the 20th)!  She loves cheese, bagels and cream cheese, watermelon, purple grapes, and avocado more than anything.  Her favorite princess changes everyday, but it's usually Ariel, Cinderella, Rapunzel, or Jasmine.  She pretty much only wears dresses and loves wearing rain boots.  She will not leave the house without a bow or clip in her hair, that's my girl!  She is sparkly and girly and twirly and just the best little three year old I've ever known!  I love her so much and feel so lucky that she's all ours!!

She's the girl who made me a mommy and I am forever grateful for her.  She's still my cuddly little Woo and I can't wait to see what life has in store for her.  I love you more than you'll ever know my sweet Sloan Eloise!
