I've Got My Eye On You (with the Baby Pixel from Summer Infant)

This is a sponsored post in association with Summer Infant.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own!  Thank you for supporting the brands that support my blog!

A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me how long I planned on keeping baby monitors in my kids rooms.  I jokingly replied, "Ummm until they're out of the house?!"  We all laughed and agreed that we wouldn't mind always having an eye on our babes!  While I know I can't actually keep monitors in their rooms that long, I do like having them in each of their rooms right now.  For the girls, I really just need to be able to hear them.  If I'm downstairs, I want to be able to hear if they wake up and need me.

We recently moved Briar into his crib (in his own room) at night so I knew we needed to get a third monitor.  I wanted to be able to hear him, but I also really wanted to be able to see him.  I wanted a monitor with a clear screen and to be able to move the camera around remotely.  We started using the Summer Infant Baby Pixel™ 5.0 Inch Touchscreen Color Video Monitor and I am so pleased with it so far!

The camera itself is very small and discreet, something that was important to me in Briar's simple nursery.  The 5" LCD color monitor is actually a touchscreen and has a a really clear picture.  I can move the camera around remotely, a feature that was really important to me.  You actually just tilt the monitor and can move the camera around in your babies room (so cool!).  There is also a moonlight night vision boost that subtly illuminates the cameras viewing area so that you can get a clearer, in-color view of baby in the dark.

One of my favorite features of the monitor is the Sleepzone virtual boundary. You set a boundary box around a certain area and if your baby leaves that area, the monitor will alert you.  Briar isn't mobile yet, but I have a feeling that feature will come in handy soon!

Let's be honest.  Moving Briar into his room was hard!  I'm not ready for him to be away from me!  #timestop.  Since we've moved him into his crib, I do have peace of mind using the new  Summer Infant Baby Pixel™ 5.0 Inch Touchscreen Color Video Monitor.  I can see and hear Briar which let's me know that he's safe and sound in his crib.  If you're in need of a baby monitor, I highly recommend the Baby Pixel!
