Stocking Stuffer Guide (for kids) // Holiday 2017

I love buying stocking stuffers for my family.  Eric and I actually spend a lot of time putting together stockings for each other, a tradition he started the first year we were married when he got me the most thoughtful gifts in my stocking and I bought him NOTHING.  I didn't even think about it and felt awful!!!  So every year we both go all out for each others stockings (he gives the best gift cards, treats, and usually a bottle of wine :)).  Stocking stuffers have become one of my favorite things to buy so I'm excited to share this stocking stuffer guide!  Everything is linked below, with a few more ideas too.

From top, left to right
Child size water bottle  (sippy cup for younger kids) /  Toothbrush  and our fave banana toothpaste  (Some other great toiletry items include nail polish, bath bombs, hair brush, bath crayons) /  Practical joker kit  /  Trolls chapstick (P is going to LOVE this) /  Unicorn horn  /  Bubble bath  /  Play Foam  /  Wooden car  (you can fit so many little cars, trucks, and trains in a stocking!) /  Books (The Princess and the Pea  and Boy + Bot  are two of our favorites) /  Watercolors  (I give the girls lots of art supplies for Christmas)

Men's Gift Guide // Holiday 2017

Eric is always the hardest person for me to buy for.  Usually when he wants something, he just buys it for himself.  And he never really wants all that much anyways!  I try to buy him gifts that are thoughtful, that he can actually use, and will last him a long time.  He's definitely the person I think "quality over quantity" when buying gifts.  Hopefully this gift guide gives you a few ideas for your special guy (or dad or brother or uncle :))!

From top, left to right
Beanie  /  Shaving kit  (this is Eric's favorite brand of shaving and skincare products) /  Sweatpants  (Eric's favorite, I buy him a new pair every year) /  E-tip gloves  (Eric has these and uses them all winter long) /  Headphones  /  Half zip hoodie  /  Beer opener  /  Hydro Flask cup  (Eric drinks EVERYTHING out of this cup, he says every guy needs one) /  Slippers  /  Running shoes

Gift Guide for Baby // Holiday 2017

I always hear people say that babies are so hard to buy presents for and I always think they're crazy!  Babies are fun to shop for and they really don't need much!  A few thoughtful gifts and you can mark them off your shopping list!  I like to buy baby's things that they need like pajamas, books, rattles, and bath toys.

We are getting Briar this fun activity center and I can't wait to see him jump around in it!  I also bought him some of my favorite pajamas, a super soft fuzzy bear, and some sensory balls.

From top, left to right
Fuzzy Bear  /  Baby booties  (these are my favorite booties EVER-your baby needs them) /  Pajama  /  Personalized whale rattle  /  Rainbow stacking toy  /  Board book  /  Sensory balls  /  Bunny rattle  /  Growth chart  /  Activity center

Girls Gift Guide // Holiday 2017

Happy December 1st!  I am so excited to share my first gift guide, one for the little ladies!  Having two girls is FUN, but it also comes with a lot of stuff.  I have recently been going through the girls rooms and their playroom and pulling out things that they don't play with anymore.  I can't wait to spoil them on Christmas, but I am being a lot more thoughtful with my gift buying this year.  I don't want a bunch of stuff that's only going to be thrown out in six months.

For Christmas this year, the girls are each getting a few "fun" toys that they've been asking for, but everything else has to either be practical (like cold weather gear or pajamas), educational (books, games, and art supplies), or something that is higher quality and that I know will be around for awhile.

From top, left to right
Baby doll accessory bag  /  Knit elephant doll  /  Doll bed  /  Sticker books  /  Today  (Today is my girls absolute favorite book!  I am giving P  this book this year)  /  Dual Microphone  /  Spirit horse toy  (my girls are obsessed with the show Spirit on Netflix) /  Magnetic blocks  /  Mr. Pencil tracing toy  (Sloan loves writing letters so this should be perfect for her) /  Sleeping bag  /  Pajamas  /  Hug time bracelet  (P is dyyyyying for a hug time bracelet) /  Snow boots  /  Ride on Frozen sleigh

Obviously my girls already have the  Frozen sleigh, but I had to add it because it is their FAVORITE toy ever and gets so much use.  And it's $100 off right now!  I decided to get Sloan the small white  doll bed because it matches her bed and she's been really into stuffed animals lately.  Phayre loves baby dolls so I got her a  doll accessory bag and a new  stroller to keep in the playroom.  And I'm already calling it, the  sleeping bags (because we do a living room campout every Friday night) and the  dual microphone will be the biggest hits with my girls on Christmas.  Ahhhh I cannot wait to see their little faces on Christmas morning!  It really is the very best time of year.
