I posted Easter basket ideas for girls earlier, and I can't leave baby B out!  I rounded up some fun Easter ideas for baby, I can't wait to start putting Briar's first basket together!

I hope you find some ideas here for your little babe!

Easter Basket Ideas for Girls

Holy moly, I cannot believe I'm already starting to plan the girl's Easter baskets!  Christmas stockings and Easter baskets are two of my favorite things to buy for!  It took me awhile to look around and decide on exactly what I'm going to get the girls this year.  I was so excited about all the fun goodies, I thought I'd share!

When planning Easter baskets, I like to write everything down first and then check things off my list as I buy them.  If I don't do this, I tend to just keep buying random little trinkets and over-buy.  I always get the girls pajamas, one or two spring/summer items (like a swimsuit, sandals, bubbles, or chalk), a stuffed animal, a few small toys, a personal care item (like bubble bath, lip gloss, or bath bombs), and some art supplies.  They get way too much candy from Easter egg hunts, so sometimes I'll throw some fruit snacks or granola bars in their baskets instead of candy.

I hope you find some goodies here for your little lady!

Our Family Room

When we're home, we spend most of our time in our family room.  It's comfortable and kid friendly, and we always end up in there when we have friends or family over too.  The room is anchored by an old sectional couch that has three kids worth of stains, but is so comfortable!  We have a diaper caddy, a basket of books, and cozy blankets in there too.  It's our hang out space-where we watch movies, have family campouts, and the most common place I sit to nurse Briar.

I get asked all the time to share our family room, so I thought I'd share a few photos of the space.  The room is kept tidy, but definitely has a lived in feel.  I want to hang some more art work around the tv eventually, but haven't gotten around to it yet.  I framed one of Sloan's watercolor rainbows that I really need to get up on the wall!

It's no secret that I love Sugarboo and Co!  We have several of their art pieces throughout the house.  We've had the "Daring I love you" art prints for several years and they've traveled all over with us and have been used in multiple rooms in our house.  I recently added some Sugarboo throw pillows and I love how oversized they are!  They have zippers and come right off so that I can easily wash the covers.  You can save 20% on Sugarboo pillows now through 3/12/18 with code BROWN20.

If you're trying to create a family friendly living space, I highly recommend getting a large couch with enough seating for the whole family.  Don't spend a fortune if you have little (and messy!) kids, but spend enough so that it'll hold up through the years.  Lots of cozy blankets and pillows are necessary for keeping warm and building forts.  Have some small books or toys available for kids to play with throughout the day, but not too much so that it's hard to pick up at the end of the day.  And lastly, hang artwork that makes you feel happy.

Sectional couch  /  Coffee table is old (this one and this one are similar)  /  Rug  /  Pillows c/o Sugarboo and Co.  /  Darling I love you art prints (ours are 36"x36" each)  /  TV stand was $40 on craigslist, but I added these knobs  /  Ride on pig toy  /  Baby activity center

I hope you enjoyed a peak into our space!
