Easter Basket Guide for Toddler Boys 2019

Did you catch my girls gift guide this year??  It was so fun to put together, but not quite as fun as finding items for my little Bry Bry.  Briar is finally at the age where he likes toys and gets excited about presents!  I am so excited to put his Easter basket together this year :).

I hope you find an idea or two for your little guy here!

Xo,

M

Ride on toy. (I love this one because it's a ride on toy, but turns into a scooter as your child gets older)

I shared a few more ideas below!

Easter Basket Guide for Girls 2019

I figured it was time to dust off the old blog for one of my most favorite posts of the year!  I loooooove putting together Easter baskets for my kids and sharing my ideas with you guys!  This year I am trying to be more intentional with my gift giving.  I want to give my kids things that are fun and exciting for them, but they really don't need more "stuff".  For their baskets this year, I am giving them some fun spring/summer items (bathing suits, sandals, and swim goggles), pajamas (love  these strawberry ones!), workbooks, and an activity or toy that they'll actually play with!

If you're looking for a cute Easter basket, I found a ton  here!

I hope you get some good ideas for your little lady from this post!  Can you even believe we're already talking about Easter?!

Xo, M

Octopus kite. This is the absolute best kids kite.  If you have any beach trips planned, your little needs this kite!
Cake purse.  These glitter purses are my girls favorite.  I love that this one is on sale!
Unicorn headphones. I've shared these headphones before, both of my girls use them.  They're the best for little gals.
Slip on sandals.  Love these for pool and splash pad days.  I also always get my girls a new pair of  saltwater sandals for Easter!
Unicorn chalk. So cute and perfect for spring and summer.
Popsicle swimsuit. Love this one for Phayre Bear!
Hair chalk. This is the temporary hair chalk that my girls got to play with at the beach a few weeks ago!  I was so hesitant to let them use it, but it washed out with just one wash!
Unicorn stickers. I always have these in my diaper bag, my girls love these!
Pink running shoes. Sloany needs new running shoes and these are perfect!
Glitter sunscreen.  My girls looooove this stuff.  I usually use our normal sunscreen all over their bodies and face, and then use the glitter kind on their arms where they can see it.  They think it's the best :).
Jar of bath bombs.  Throwing this in Sloan's basket with some new nail polish!
LOL surprise doll.  I have such a love hate relationship with LOL dolls.  I hate buying them, but my girls will seriously play with them all afternoon!  They will each be getting one new LOL for Easter this year.
Unicorn lipgloss.  These were a favorite last year so I plan on ordering them again.
Makeup pallet.  My girls are soooo into doing their makeup right now.  It's not my favorite thing in the world to see their sweet faces covered in makeup, but I'm trying to be supportive!  I love that this pallet has lots of pretty light pink colors!
Alphabet go fish.  Sloan's current favorite game.
Workbooks and books.  I got the girls each a few workbooks and a new picture book called  Bloom!

I linked a few more fun ideas below!!

Our Weekend Getaway to Seattle

Remember when I used to blog regularly and document our life?  No?  It's been awhile, I don't blame you for forgetting ;).  I really do miss documenting our adventures and want to get back to it.  Maybe that will be one of my New Year's resolutions?!

We just got home from a quick weekend getaway up to our favorite city and it is definitely worth documenting!  I love visiting Seattle, it's so nostalgic and brings me back to when our Sloany girl was a tiny baby.  Feels like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time.

We walked all around the city and visited our old building and favorite shops.  Sloan loved seeing all of the places we used to taker her to when she was a baby, it was really cute!  Of course we made a stop at the public market, gum wall, and Starbucks.  The kids absolutely loved the public market.  Fresh flowers, trinkets, and mini donuts aren't hard to love though ;).

We stayed at the Hyatt at Olive 8 and it was the perfect home away from home.  Our room was so clean and spacious with the most amazing views.  The hotel has a super yummy restaurant called Urbane and a cute little coffee shop in the lobby.  Our kids loved the indoor pool and cannot wait to go back and visit!  If you're visiting Seattle for the first time, I highly recommend the Hyatt at Olive 8.  The location was so central to everything downtown!

We ended our weekend at Enchant and it was. pure. magic.  There was a Christmas light maze where we found all of Santa's reindeer, ice skating, hot cocoa, and we even got to see Santa!  The kids had SO much fun and Eric and I loved seeing how magical it all was for them.  We will definitely be adding this to our Christmastime traditions!

If you're visiting Enchant, here are a few tips:

1. If you can swing it, get the VIP tickets.  We got there right when they opened and the line for general admission was around the block.  We were able to walk right in and went straight to dinner.  After dinner, we got to walk right into the event.  No lines at all!

2. If you do not get the VIP tickets, get there early.  People were lining up way before the event started.  If you don't get the VIP tickets, you'll still have a great time and get to enjoy all of the magic!  I just really appreciated that it cut down on the lines so much :).

3. If you want to ice skate, do it first (before the Christmas light maze).  The line for ice skating got pretty long as the night went on.

4. Make sure you see Santa, he was the nicest and jolliest Santa ever!  We got right in to see him because we had the VIP tickets.

5. Wear super warm clothing!!  The event is not heated, so it'll pretty much be the same temp as it is outside hats and gloves are a must!

6. Enchant is great for people of all ages!!  Briar is only 15 months and had an absolute blast.  He loved all of the Christmas lights and watching the ice skaters go by.

I hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday season!!  We've been crazy busy, but doing so many fun things that I can't complain.  Next up is zoo lights and then DISNEYLAND!!!  Our kids don't know we're going so I am beyond excited to surprise them!!!

Christmas in the Girls Room

Confession?  I took these photos over a week ago and then completely forgot I took them ;).  My brain is kinda like scrambled eggs, but I am doing my best to create allll the holiday magic for my babes!  We threw up holiday decorations in the girls room before we had even eaten Thanksgiving dinner.  They're just so excited about Christmas and I can't even blame them!

I thought I'd do a quick room tour and share the little holiday touches in their room.  We'll see if the girls let me take these down in January... at the very least the twinkle lights will probably have to stay!

The girls room is my favorite for three reasons.  1. It's so dang cute and girly.  2. The girls spend so much time chatting together in their room.  And 3. They don't keep a ton of toys in their room so it's typically not messy :).  Don't get me started on our playroom, that's another story!

If you're looking for more sources, check out the girls shared room tour here!
